We only do hydroseeding and erosion control. Not landscaping that also includes hydroseeding — hydroseeding, period. That focus is why our equipment is always dialed in and our seed blends are chosen by someone who actually knows Piedmont soils.
TerraSeed LLC was founded in 2025 by co-owners Avery Rudisill and Josh Frye with a simple observation: most homeowners and contractors in the Carolina Piedmont who tried hydroseeding walked away disappointed — and it wasn't because hydroseeding doesn't work. They'd hired a landscape company that dabbled in it, a bargain crew that cut corners on seed blend and mulch, or an operator who didn't understand the specific soil challenges of our region.
We fixed that by doing one thing, exceptionally well. Built around a commercial-first mindset, TerraSeed brings owner-operated focus to every project — equipment we own and maintain ourselves (TurfMaker hydroseeders), premium seed blends matched to each site, and our signature soil amendment for the red-clay subsoils that dominate fresh-graded construction across the Piedmont. Josh handles operations and runs the jobs. Avery runs the business side. Lester Frye — Josh's father and U.S. military veteran — is on the crew.

The quote you get is the price you pay. We walk the site, measure, and hand you a firm written number. No hidden fees, no surprise add-ons once the truck shows up. If a commercial GC puts our quote in a bid package, that number holds.
Show Up When We Say We Will
Construction schedules are tight and homeowners have plans. We respect that. If we told you Thursday at 9am, we're there Thursday at 9am — or you get a call the day before explaining why and when we'll be there instead.
